Coming at you with some Spring-fresh spaces today – starting with this nursery. Contemporary, gender neutral and beautiful.
Style that’ll never going out of style – plenty of fresh white and warm wood, layered with natural elements and textures – botanical, paper, ceramic, linen… Styling by one of my faves, Elin Odnegard.
Simply beautiful architecture by Le Lad.
From the same house – designed around a central atrium. See more of this home here.
The Art of Arrangement. That storage on the right is the fairly iconic Ikea IVAR cabinet, which has been hiding people’s clutter for over 50 years now. The best design doesn’t date.
One for my fellows in the Society of Small Kitchens. At the start of our meetings we recite the Oath: “Nice to look at, lovely to behold, but if you had one… you’d change your tune pretty damn quickly.” Yeah, it doesn’t rhyme, but we’re a guild of kitchen-lovers, not poets, jeez. (Tip: The full wall of tiles helps open this space up.)
Sophisticated soft minimalism – when done right, it’s so restful. By young architect Artem Tiutiunnyk
OK – black and smokey glass look so good together – they add a masculine elegance to the space.
Also, gallery walls will always be a good time.
For my rattan clan: how good do those honey tones look with this grey?
More styling by my #WCE Elin Odnegard
