High-summer but high-end vibes by Australian interior-stylist and furniture designer Sarah Ellison.

No folks, we’re still not done with powdery pink yet. Appreciating it here with the rattan pieces and tobacco linen.

Love the dance of dappled light and shadow this skylight offers the bathroom. Together with those textured, imperfect tiles, the squared-edges bath and the burnished bronze bath spout, it’s a sophisticated, contemplative look with the feel of an exclusive Spa.

Just love how quiet this is. Ssshhhh, we’re reading in here.

Great example of how well a palette of light timber, dark timber and black can work.
Idea to steal for my dream-home scrapbook: those deep-set box door frames! I don’t think I’ve seen this architectural detail before… love.

Delicious material palette – deserves a close-up. What do you think of the white? Not nearly as good, huh.

Clean and contemporary living alongside with original 1898 details.

Recent spaces by one of my interior design favourites, Triibe (Australian designers Christina Symes and Jessica d’Abadie).
Assembly Label and Wolfe and Ordnance clothing and lifestyle stores, and the new In Bed store in Sydney.

Best Bathroom o’ The Week! See the rest of it over at Yellowtrace.

If you’re building, and planning a walk-in wardrobe, first – I’m jealous, and second, this would be a nice simple design.
(This is behind cavity sliders, which I dig, and the kilim rug and leaning mirror takes it from basic to magic.)
